Senior Underwriter – Artisan E&S

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Under general supervision, evaluates and reviews insurance applications to assess risk, determine acceptability, establish suitable coverage, and formulate pricing recommendations.

• Develops, nurtures, and enhances relationships with agencies and brokers to foster business growth.

• Performs industry research on forms, rates, market trends, and legal developments, providing insights to underwriting personnel and management as necessary.

• Creates and oversees a profitable portfolio of business within a designated territory, ensuring outcomes align with the company's growth and profitability goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant and progressive experience in middle market contractors E&S.

• Pursuing a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), or an equivalent insurance designation based on specialty area.

• Bachelor's Degree (4 Year) or equivalent education and/or experience.
