Senior Underwriter – Accident & Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Employ various databases to collect and verify extensive supplementary data for submissions and utilize specialized software to assess risks, ensuring precise policy pricing.

• Proactive in addressing market or carrier challenges.

• Provide clients with recommendations on insurance applications to mitigate exposure to excessive risk.

• Ensure that all underwriting activities adhere to industry and governmental regulations.

• Build and maintain relationships with assigned producers to achieve production targets.

• Collaborate effectively with the underwriting team to expedite the finalization of insurance applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• ACII Certified or in the process of obtaining the qualification.

• 5-7 years of experience in underwriting or a related field is essential.

• Strong background in customer service.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly adapt to industry-specific software.

• Capable of working collaboratively with team members and other departments.

• Eager to learn, explore new ideas, and pursue additional knowledge.

• Ability to be adaptable, embrace change, and swiftly adjust to shifting priorities.

• Existing connections with Producing Brokers.
