This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Oversee the comprehensive design process for client projects and the NineTwoThree brand, from initial concept to developer-ready handoff.
• Utilize our existing component system (Chakra UI and its Figma UI Kit): adapt and expand it, customizing for each client with minimal divergence and reduced engineering rework, rather than creating new components.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma to convey solutions and test various hypotheses.
• Perform competitive analysis and usability testing to affirm decisions, prioritizing familiar, established patterns over fleeting trends.
• Consider developer implementation costs as a primary design constraint: favor the solution that can be delivered quickest from our component library over the one that appears most innovative.
• Innovate in information architecture and layout: determine what to highlight, what to conceal, and where elements should reside, ensuring that the main workspace receives adequate screen space instead of endless menus, filters, and navigation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical designs, justifying your choices with user needs and business objectives.
• Accelerate the design process using AI tools and contribute to enhancing the team's craftsmanship and design culture.
• A minimum of **5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer**, with a robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in **UX principles**, user flows, and the design of data-rich internal tools, admin panels, dashboards, or B2B/enterprise applications (not limited to consumer or branding projects).
• Experience in structured, fast-paced environments with established processes, stringent deadlines, and asynchronous collaboration across departments, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working as part of a multi-designer team, contributing to shared systems and engaging in design feedback exchanges.
• **Demonstrated ability to design within an established component library** (Chakra UI, MUI, Ant Design, or a similar framework), with a practical understanding of how design decisions affect front-end (React/Chakra) implementation efforts.
• Proficiency in Figma, including team libraries, auto layout, component properties, and prototyping capabilities.
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and best practices for usability.
• Familiarity with Google Material and Apple Design Guidelines.
• Solid foundation in layout, grids, information hierarchy, and responsive/interactive design.
• Exceptional written and verbal English skills (Upper-Intermediate or higher) for effective remote collaboration.
• Experience designing for AI-driven web and mobile applications.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of usability and information hierarchy.
• Fully remote position – work from anywhere you choose.
• Annual paid vacation – 20 working days per year, increasing to 25 days after three years of service.
• Paid sick leave and public holidays.
• Flexible working hours to suit your schedule.
• Well-being budget to foster your personal growth.
• Maternity and paternity leave options available.
• Reimbursement for professional development courses/certifications (up to 100% with managerial approval).
• Necessary hardware provided based on business requirements.
• A robust, positive engineering culture with a close-knit, collaborative team that values quality and creativity.
