This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Tech team within the Ford Customer Service Division is seeking a dynamic and impactful Senior Product Designer.
• The ideal candidate should possess a collaborative spirit—ready to lead, implement, optimize, and refine both work products and processes informed by feedback from various stakeholders.
• A passion for user experience is essential, along with a desire to collaborate with an exceptionally talented team.
• You will have the chance to design and enhance digital experiences for both internal and external users.
• It will be crucial to balance business requirements while consistently prioritizing our users and their objectives.
• You will oversee the user experience strategy across website initiatives, including web-based software.
• Collaboration with multiple product teams throughout Ford is expected, and you will take a leadership position in working with several designers.
• A Bachelor’s degree AND/OR at least 4 years of experience in digital and software design.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in leading and mentoring UX designers (either directly or indirectly) by exemplifying best practices in design communication, mentorship, and sharing your expertise with others.
• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Service Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (e.g. Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, etc.).
• The ability to build trust, foster positive professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture in a remote, dynamic work environment.
• Proven experience in UX design throughout all project phases across diverse initiatives.
• A track record of delivering projects from definition through to execution and refinement.
• Demonstrated capability to build consensus, influence, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers. Experience in developing relationships, credibility, and proactive communication with colleagues and leadership.
• Strong ability to convey the value of product features and identify trade-offs to create effective digital products.
