Senior UI Designer – Visual & Interaction Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design visually engaging and user-friendly UI layouts for both web and mobile applications.

• Convert UX concepts, user pathways, and specifications into detailed, high-fidelity interfaces.

• Build and sustain scalable UI components and cohesive design systems.

• Implement principles of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, layout, spacing, and interaction design.

• Produce interactive prototypes to effectively convey design ideas and user interactions.

• Maintain consistency across digital products while adhering to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, developers, and various stakeholders.

• Partner with developers to guarantee precise design execution and seamless handoff.

• Keep up to date with the latest trends in UI, visual, interaction, and digital design.

• Guide junior designers and assist in enhancing design quality and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional experience in UI design, visual design, or digital product design.

• A robust portfolio that showcases high-quality UI projects across web and mobile platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of visual design elements, including typography, color schemes, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and composition.

• Strong grasp of interaction design and the capability to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences.

• Proficiency in Figma and other UI/prototyping tools like Framer, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

• Experience in designing and maintaining design systems, reusable UI components, and visual standards.

• Proven ability to create responsive designs tailored for web and mobile platforms.

• Thorough understanding of accessibility requirements and UI design best practices.

• Capability to transform UX requirements, user flows, and concepts into refined, high-fidelity UI designs.

• Exceptional attention to detail with an emphasis on visual consistency and precise execution.

• Experience collaborating with UX designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders.

• Strong communication abilities and excellent proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS/React is advantageous.

• Background in digital products, fintech, or digital agency settings is a plus.
