This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete UI and effects workflow, from initial concept to polished in-engine implementation.
• Design and enhance game user interfaces utilizing Unity UI Toolkit (UXML + USS).
• Utilize Spine to infuse motion, vibrancy, and coherence into UI and in-game effects.
• Enhance presentation quality through expertise in typography, color, shape language, motion, and layering.
• Analyze and break down leading game UIs to discover and implement their exceptional elements.
• Rapidly iterate based on feedback while fostering open collaboration with engineers and designers.
• Contribute to the enhancement of pipelines and workflows for UI and FX integration.
• Over 5 years of experience as a UI or FX artist in mobile or game development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Unity, including Unity UI Toolkit.
• Experience with Spine (animation, motion, or effects).
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional attention to detail, presentation quality, and stylistic flexibility.
• Strong grasp of visual hierarchy, layout, motion, and color theory.
• Capability to work directly within the engine, not as a hand-off artist.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and feedback abilities.
