This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Organize, coordinate, and carry out UAT activities for system improvements, defect resolutions, releases, and implementation tasks.
• Create test plans, test cases, test scripts, Test Script Inventories, test data requirements, and acceptance criteria derived from requirements, BRDs, workflows, and operational scenarios.
• Convert business, policy, operational, technical, and reporting requirements into concise test scenarios that verify system functionality and meet user expectations.
• Conduct functional, end-to-end, regression, integration, release validation, and production validation testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, track, retest, and resolve defects, issues, blockers, and discrepancies.
• Assist in UAT kickoff meetings, daily UAT huddles, defect triage, testing readiness assessments, stakeholder walkthroughs, go-live preparations, and post-release evaluations.
• Collaborate with MQD business users, KOLEA teams, vendors, IT leadership, workstream leads, project managers, and subject matter experts to verify scenarios and facilitate release readiness.
• Utilize Jira to monitor testing tasks, defects, action items, blockers, dependencies, release milestones, status updates, priorities, due dates, dashboards, and reporting requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive UAT documentation in SharePoint, encompassing test plans, test scripts, execution evidence, defect logs, validation summaries, traceability materials, and release readiness documentation.
• Clearly communicate test progress, risks, open defects, acceptance decisions, and considerations regarding release readiness in an actionable manner.
• Collaborate with training, operations, policy, and change management teams to identify release impacts, support training readiness, and inform implementation materials.
• Aid in go-live preparedness, release decision-making, post-implementation validation, and follow-up actions to minimize production issues and enhance adoption.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the last five (5) years in a testing, quality assurance, business analysis, system implementation, or modernization role.
• Experience supporting UAT throughout the testing lifecycle, including planning, scenario design, test script creation, execution, defect management, retesting, reporting, and ensuring release readiness.
• Proficiency in translating requirements, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria into test cases, expected outcomes, validation steps, and documented evidence.
• Experience in developing or maintaining Test Script Inventories, traceability materials, defect logs, validation summaries, and UAT status reports.
• Proven experience conducting functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, release validation, or production validation testing.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for identifying, documenting, prioritizing, tracking, retesting, and resolving defects.
• Strong ability to communicate testing progress, risks, open issues, defect patterns, and acceptance recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
