Senior Traditional Chinese Linguist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Overseeing translation and copy-editing assignments

• Liaising with freelancers and agencies

• Managing language resources

• Addressing terminology inquiries

• Working collaboratively with clients and internal teams

• Serving as the lead linguist for designated accounts

• Evaluating and qualifying new freelancers and vendors

• Engaging in the enhancement of new and improved workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation/Applied Languages/Linguistic Studies or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Over 8 years of substantial experience in translation/localization/editing or content writing

• More than 5 years of review experience

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal

• Native proficiency in the TARGET language

• Strong familiarity with standard CAT tools, such as XTM and SDL Studio

• Proficient in standard software, including Windows and Office applications

• Capable of providing clear, concise, and constructive feedback

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Willingness and capability to train and mentor others
