Senior Tracking Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Full responsibility for our tracking ecosystem comprising GA4, Server-Side GTM, Amplitude, and various marketing tools, encompassing audits, stabilization, and consent management.

• Implement tracking governance — including event definitions, naming conventions, tracking plans, and change logs — to transition from the previous agency-managed framework to a sustainable internal ownership model.

• Deploy and facilitate Amplitude as the product analytics platform, empowering teams to establish reliable OKR metrics and launch new features with accurate tracking.

• Create automated monitoring for tracking to identify data quality issues and outages promptly, translating technical insights into clear business implications for stakeholders in marketing, product, and engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of practical experience with GA4 and GTM (both client-side and server-side), preferably in a rapidly growing e-commerce setting with intricate purchase funnels.

• Extensive knowledge in developing tracking plans, managing GDPR/consent protocols, and troubleshooting attribution and conversion configurations across various marketing channels.

• Proficient in English; experience in managing relationships with external agencies and overseeing tracking service level agreements (SLAs) is a significant advantage.
