This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Delivers nationwide title services
• Responsible for assisting real estate transactions by researching public records and reviewing titles for properties to assess the legal status of property titles
• Compiles, investigates, and analyzes public and tax records to identify liabilities and the legal status of the title, as well as the insurability of the property
• Prepares precise and thorough title commitments in line with company examining and policy standards
• Understands how their team collaborates with related teams to achieve objectives
• Influences the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the team through personal contributions
• Identifies and addresses unusual problems that arise infrequently
• Assesses and chooses solutions from established precedents or procedures
• Communicates and clarifies complex information, including interdependencies within the team and with others
• Operates under limited supervision and may exercise discretion to adjust work practices and processes to achieve outcomes or enhance efficiency
• Acts as an individual contributor and serves as a resource for less experienced team members; does not hold supervisory responsibilities
• Performs all other tasks assigned by management
• High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Typically requires over 5 years of relevant work experience
