Senior Title Curative, Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate and address title issues and discrepancies for REO properties and refinancing transactions.

• Evaluate and scrutinize title commitments for anomalies, and devise and execute solutions.

• Utilize available resources to resolve title-related challenges.

• Review and assess title reports.

• Deliver exceptional customer service.

• Provide accurate and timely updates to all parties involved in transactions.

• Input data into various technology platforms.

• Assemble title claim packages for submission.

• Oversee submitted claims and resolutions with retained title, foreclosure, or external counsel.

• Identify, mitigate, and escalate potential losses.

• Prepare and sustain reports on title defects and their current status.

• Complete task queues, updates, and follow-up assignments promptly.

• Draft subordination agreements, affidavits, lien releases, and related documents.

• Collaborate with loan officers, clients, and internal business partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution and/or over five (5) years of relevant title curative experience.

• Prior mortgage loan servicing experience is preferred.

• Execute responsibilities in compliance with US state and federal laws and regulations.
