Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Operate throughout all stages of the intelligence cycle, from requirements gathering to dissemination.

• Take loosely defined questions and establish the parameters yourself, frame the issue, and clarify what constitutes an "answered" query.

• Generate intelligence tailored to its audience, ranging from engineers to executives.

• Collaborate with Cyber Defense and engineering teams as a technical peer to convert intelligence into mitigation and detection strategies.

• Assist in guiding our intelligence architecture requirements by working with engineers to influence tooling, automation, and data flows.

• Contribute to the development and evolution of our Priority Intelligence Requirements and Collection Requirements as the threat landscape evolves.

• Prepare and present briefings, after-action reports, and program metrics to both technical and executive audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a dedicated threat intelligence position.

• Significant experience working within or alongside operational security teams such as threat hunting, SOC/IR, or detection engineering.

• Proven ability to impose structure on ambiguous problems and drive them toward customer-centric solutions.

• A proficient understanding of AI within an analytical framework.

• Knowledge of the adversary ecosystem and the structure of various threat groups.

• A solid grounding in intelligence disciplines, including assessing source fidelity and determining relevance and actionability.

• Exceptional briefing abilities, both in-person and virtually, customized for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

• Familiarity with EDR, SIEM, TIP, IPS, and WAF tools.
