Senior Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional individual therapy services to a varied client base, utilizing evidence-based approaches customized to each client's unique requirements.

• Perform comprehensive intake evaluations, creating personalized treatment strategies, and modifying care as clients evolve.

• Sustain a consistent caseload with high retention rates, scheduling clients 3–4 weeks in advance to ensure continuity of care.

• Complete documentation in a timely and compliant manner, including session notes, treatment plans, and insurance forms by the end of each day.

• Collaborate with colleagues, care coordinators, and referring professionals to provide integrated, holistic care.

• Offer services through telehealth and/or in-office sessions, ensuring a private and professional atmosphere in both environments.

• Communicate proactively with clients regarding scheduling, policies, and treatment expectations.

• Engage in team meetings, clinical training sessions, and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

• Remain updated on clinical best practices, ethical guidelines, and licensure requirements.

• Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes clinical excellence and promotes the wellbeing of clinicians.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active and unrestricted license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in good standing.

• Proven experience in delivering individual therapy services in an outpatient or comparable setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and maintaining precise clinical documentation.

• Ability to adhere to established SMART note documentation procedures.

• Strong skills in time management, scheduling discipline, and organization.

• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.

• Capability to manage an independent caseload while remaining responsive and dependable for clients.
