This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Promote the authorized indications of BMS products within a specified territory or region to achieve or surpass assigned sales goals in a compliant manner.
• Generate demand for BMS medications by delivering a balanced clinical and scientific rationale to healthcare professionals.
• Sustain and enhance scientific knowledge in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute detailed territory and account plans.
• Utilize CE^3 and other available resources to extract insights and inform call strategies.
• Conduct in-office presentations and communicate label-consistent scientific information regarding products to healthcare providers.
• Coordinate external speaker programs, including the selection of approved speakers, scheduling, and logistical arrangements.
• Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
• Consult with Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.
• Work collaboratively with other field teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Collect and relay customer insights internally to relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• An advanced scientific degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, such as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
• Proficient in communicating scientific or clinical data accurately and persuasively to physicians.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining credibility with key customers, office personnel, and customer influence networks.
• Oncology experience is preferred.
• Strong account management abilities and exceptional sales skills.
• Proven track record of sales performance in meeting or exceeding targets.
• Capability to work efficiently across various functions.
• Excellent selling and promotional skills with a history of performance.
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to drive business outcomes.
• Experience in identifying, engaging, and building credibility with customers throughout the patient care journey.
• Understanding of the patient journey and capability to tailor engagements and messages accordingly.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical data.
• A robust learning attitude and passion for science.
• Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical/product data.
• Skill in segmenting HCPs and customizing communications and product presentations.
• Proficient in utilizing CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning.
• Technological proficiency with digital communication channels, CE^3, CRM tools, online resources, and Medical on Call.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to develop, implement, and modify business plans.
• High integrity and sound judgment to operate compliantly under BMS policies and procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing issued by the state of residence.
• Must meet the company's criteria for acceptable driving risk.
