Senior Test Engineer – E-commerce Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a member of the product development team, working closely with developers on the customer side.

• Support and adhere to the Quality Assistance process.

• Plan and estimate testing tasks effectively.

• Create and keep test documentation updated.

• Design and carry out manual, snapshot, and UI tests for new features.

• Conduct Functional, Regression, and Compatibility testing on both Web and Mobile platforms.

• Execute release validation, smoke testing, and post-deployment quality assessments.

• Provide clear, regular status updates and progress reports.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to ensure high product quality.

• Identify, document, and communicate risks and issues in a constructive manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4.5+ years of QA experience with full ownership of testing processes.

• Strong exploratory testing capabilities that extend beyond scripted test cases.

• Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android), including familiarity with release procedures.

• Ability to work independently across various cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of agile workflows, feature flags, and staged rollouts.

• Proficient in requirements analysis, capable of clarifying edge/corner cases.

• Comfortable with context switching and supporting multiple teams simultaneously.

• SQL proficiency with the ability to write moderately complex queries.

• Hands-on experience in API Testing with REST APIs, utilizing tools like Postman.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, cookies, caching, and browser behavior.

• Experience in deploying builds using Android Studio, Xcode, or similar tools.

• Practical experience with Git, including branches, commits, code reviews, and pull/merge requests.

• Upper-Intermediate+ proficiency in English.
