Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Contributing to the establishment of the Test Automation architecture.

• Responsible for managing the common components of the test automation framework and API/MNO simulation systems.

• Advocate for the standardization of test automation practices throughout the Technical organization.

• Offer guidance and technical assistance on the use of the Test Automation framework to scrum teams.

• Train testers and developers in the utilization of the test automation framework and tools.

• Provide Test Automation support to the UAT team.

• Assess and pilot the integration of new test automation technologies, practices, and methodologies.

• Design and develop components for the Common Framework.

• Serve as a primary source of expertise on test automation.

• Participate in recruitment by assessing the test automation skills of prospective test and software engineering candidates.

• Occasionally, the Test Automation Analyst may collaborate with scrum teams to set up new frameworks and test execution pipelines.

• They will also engage in PI planning sessions as a test automation consultant and may be called upon to support the performance test team from time to time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in automating API and web application testing.

• Proficient with API simulation tools.

• Experience in designing a framework from the ground up.

• Familiarity with .NET/C#/Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of test automation architecture.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

• Experience working in or with Agile teams.

• Nice to have: Experience in the Mobile Telecoms industry.

• ISTQB foundation level certification.

• Experience with no-code automation tools.

• Familiarity with cloud computing systems such as Azure and AWS.

• Experience in performance testing.
