Senior Test Engineer, Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with fellow members of the development team to incorporate testing and a quality assurance mindset throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Establishing and executing structured testing methodologies, encompassing both automated and manual testing approaches.

• Creating and sustaining automated test frameworks for front-end, back-end, and API using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Chai.

• Conducting functional, non-functional, performance, and security testing.

• Ensuring that testing processes are integrated into CI/CD pipelines to maintain continuous quality assurance.

• Enhancing testing for scalability, speed, and efficiency.

• Collaborating with and assisting Technical Leaders in project execution and ensuring timely delivery.

• Partnering with client teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at a professional level.

• Extensive experience operating at a Senior Test Engineer level, typically with a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience.

• Hands-on experience in an agile work environment.

• Practical knowledge of developing automation testing frameworks for scalable software solutions.

• In-depth understanding of automation testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Mocha, and Chai.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Comprehensive understanding of version control tools, such as Git.

• Real-world experience with databases and cloud environments.

• Proven experience in creating test strategies for large-scale, enterprise applications.

• Excellent skills in communication and collaboration.

• Familiarity with Sanity or other Headless CMS platforms is an advantage.
