This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Validate mission-critical, intricate software systems within secure environments.
• Develop testing strategies.
• Lead automation initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols.
• Serve as a vital quality partner in Agile, high-stakes development settings.
• Design, create, and maintain both automated and manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Oversee daily program management, including scheduling, resource distribution, budget monitoring, and coordination of monthly software releases.
• Direct end-to-end testing efforts across various program segments and releases.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria and guarantee testability.
• Construct and sustain scalable, automated testing frameworks to enhance efficiency within CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct integration, performance, and functional testing to validate high-reliability software, particularly for secure or embedded systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Develop and sustain automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Analyze test outcomes and provide actionable insights to enhance product quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best testing practices.
• Promote continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Facilitate and engage in Agile program ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for all direct reports.
• Manage the procurement and renewal of necessary licenses.
• Coordinate, authorize, and facilitate conference travel.
• Review and approve expense reports in line with company policy.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in program or project management supporting DoD or federal IT programs.
• Proven track record in managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk for complex software or enterprise-level programs.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies with experience in leading Agile development teams.
• Demonstrated ability to present to senior government and corporate leadership, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams, including development, testing, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with DoD and Air Force acquisition processes, program governance, and documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of RMF, ATO processes, and cybersecurity compliance in the DoD environment.
• Ability to manage budgets, track financials, and assist in forecasting and resource planning.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient with collaboration and program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Teams).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
