This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (both internal and external) to discuss and comprehend project requirements, ensuring the release of high-quality applications through the creation and implementation of effective testing strategies.
• Review the test basis, including requirements, stories, and design documents, ensuring alignment with the planned testing activities.
• Develop, design, and execute efficient test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage primarily for UI (mobile/web) and API automation testing, along with manual testing.
• Conduct various types of tests as necessary within projects, including manual black box, user interface, regression, functional, and integration testing.
• Execute essential activities to implement testing processes for both automation and manual tests, including test planning, design, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Report on test progress and status, manage defect tracking, and perform risk assessments.
• Assume a supportive role in continuous integration, continuous testing, and release management.
• Assist in the development of test automation frameworks when necessary.
• Acquire knowledge of new technologies and apply them to projects as required.
• Review and provide feedback on test scripts and scenarios that have failed.
• Design and execute performance tests (including load and stress tests) and report the results of these tests.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the software industry, encompassing QA methodologies and software testing.
• At least 4 years of experience with test automation tools such as Appium and Rest Assured.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software/Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of existing test automation frameworks.
• Proficient knowledge of version control systems and team collaboration tools, such as Git and Gerrit.
• Ability to guide the team in utilizing LLMs to write DRY, modular code.
• Proficient in using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor) for generating boilerplate code, Page Object Models (POM), and complex SQL/Regex scripts.
• Capability to use LLMs to swiftly convert requirements or User Stories into structured Gherkin (Cucumber) scenarios and test scripts.
• Employ AI to identify redundant code in the automation suite and suggest modern, more efficient alternatives.
• Understanding of the core mechanics of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong familiarity with continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins.
• Experience in drafting test automation strategies and test plans.
• Familiarity with various load testing tools like JMeter and Locust.
