Senior Test Analyst – Vendor API Analysis and Validation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Conduct a thorough analysis of vendor API calls.

• Examine the structures of requests and responses, field-level values, and the accuracy of messages.

• Detect any missing, incorrect, or ambiguous data within API calls.

• Develop test scenarios for vendor integrations and the anticipated outcomes.

• Utilize tools like Postman or SoapUI to execute and verify API tests.

• Review JSON and XML payloads while assisting with data validation.

• Collaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors to address defects.

• Deliver clear reports regarding issues, risks, and the progress of testing.

• Strong background in API testing.

• Experience in working with third-party or vendor integrations.

• Ability to closely examine API calls and identify detailed issues.

• Practical experience with Postman, SoapUI, JSON, and XML.
