Senior Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze requirement documentation to identify business rules, workflows, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios.

• Identify and define testing scenarios.

• Develop test cases based on the requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Create Gherkin scenarios in line with BDD principles.

• Identify and request the test data necessary for test execution.

• Develop, execute, and validate automated test scripts.

• Utilize automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Appium.

• Conduct integration, system, and acceptance testing at various stages of the development lifecycle.

• Execute both manual and automated tests.

• Identify, log, and track defects and inconsistencies using management tools.

• Follow up on defects with the respective teams.

• Rerun tests after fixes to validate and close defects.

• Generate and analyze test execution reports.

• Maintain current test cases, scenarios, evidence, and scripts.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing insights on activities, risks, impediments, outcomes, and enhancements.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, Product Owners, and other team members to ensure quality delivery.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing and automation processes.

• Contribute to the assurance of quality solutions delivered to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong experience in software testing processes and phases.

• Experience with unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting requirements documentation.

• Experience in identifying and developing test scenarios.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Experience with HP ALM, Jira, or Octane.

• Experience with automated testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.

• Familiarity with Appium.

• Experience or knowledge of Cucumber, Gherkin, and BDD.

• Knowledge of Java.

• Understanding of Visual Basic/VBA.

• Experience in a Bradesco environment will be viewed as an advantage.
