
Senior Territory Representative, Companion Animal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Engages with customers about our product offerings in a manner that is significant and relevant to each individual.
• Serves as the main point of contact for designated customers, collaborating with key personnel and decision-makers to comprehend practice structures.
• Formulates customer strategies that detail plans for interactions, relationships, solutions, partner engagement, and potential offerings for clients.
• Develops territory and specific account strategies for all major customers.
• Collaborates with National Account Managers, the Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners.
• Shares insights with other team members in the region to encourage growth and development.
• Analyzes monthly sales performance and manages expenses in accordance with budget parameters.
• Identifies and selects programs and services available through Animal Health’s resources.
• Works alongside leadership and Field Professional Services to create and deliver pertinent offerings.
• Maintains an up-to-date understanding of Animal Health products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Accountable for establishing and achieving learning and development objectives set with leadership.
• High school diploma with a minimum of 10 years of sales or comparable experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sales experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Proven motivation and focus on delivering measurable, tangible outcomes.
• Strong commitment to collaboration as a standard approach to work and problem resolution.
• Demonstrated understanding of how this role contributes to business objectives, with a readiness to adapt current processes to meet customer demands.
• Proven capability to independently assess customers’ changing needs and expectations.
• Effective use of selling techniques and methods.
• Demonstrated proficiency in identifying, developing, and managing a diverse range of accounts independently within a designated territory.
• Proficient in computer skills, including a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with the ability to use an iPad.
• Willingness to travel overnight and participate in some weekend activities.
• Sales experience and/or familiarity with the Animal Health Industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products is preferred.
• Understanding or previous experience working with distribution is preferred.
• Multi-lingual proficiency is preferred, especially in Spanish.
