This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of and promote the growth of Roadside Assistance and Membership within the West Region, focusing mainly on Texas and Arizona.
• Manage sales through independent agents while collaborating with Contact Center/retail, direct/web, and national accounts business leaders.
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with independent agents and channel partners.
• Collaborate with the Personal Auto sales team to enhance awareness, encourage adoption, and ensure consistent production.
• Facilitate new-state launches by educating and inspiring agents, ensuring field readiness, addressing challenges, and generating early sales momentum.
• Design and implement territory and partner development strategies, agent incentives, training sessions, presentations, campaigns, and sales playbooks.
• Become the in-field authority on Roadside Assistance, collect insights from agents and customers, monitor market trends, and assist in shaping Membership benefits, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Represent AssuranceAmerica at agent meetings, expos, industry conferences, and partner events.
• Foster future affinity and distribution partnerships.
• Maintain a strong presence in the market through regular travel throughout Texas and Arizona, along with additional travel across the West Region as necessary.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in territory sales, channel sales, relationship management, business development, strategic partnerships, or a similar customer-facing growth role; proven success in a company field sales position may be accepted in lieu of this requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a field that provides business knowledge and demonstrates the ability to learn and apply complex material, achieve long-term goals, and utilize analytical thinking in a professional context.
• Proven track record of building trust, creating mutual value, influencing without direct authority, and fostering productive long-term partner relationships.
• Experience in developing a territory or partner portfolio and transforming strategy, follow-through, and market insights into measurable growth.
• Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Confidence in representing the business at conferences and significant partner meetings.
• Strong commercial judgment, curiosity, and disciplined use of CRM, pipeline, sales, and performance data.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Texas and Arizona, with additional travel across the West Region and for events as required.
• Valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company car policy standards.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
• Background in roadside assistance, membership programs, automotive services, affinity products, insurance distribution, partner activation, or a growing business.
• Capability to travel weekly within the assigned territory and to other locations as necessary for events and meetings.
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods or work at a desk on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
