This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Engage in audit planning by comprehending business processes, pinpointing technology risks, and formulating risk-based audit procedures.
• Conduct process walkthroughs, control assessments, and testing to evaluate technology controls.
• Assess ITGCs, automated controls, and essential reports across enterprise applications and technology infrastructure for SOX 404 compliance.
• Assist in technology advisory and consulting projects related to system implementations, process modifications, and technology initiatives.
• Create audit workpapers and documentation in accordance with internal audit methodology, professional standards, and departmental policies.
• Examine audit evidence, recognize control weaknesses and opportunities for process enhancements, and document audit findings.
• Collaborate with Management to formulate remediation action plans, track progress, and confirm the resolution of control deficiencies.
• Review SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports from third-party service providers and evaluate their implications on the control environment.
• Deliver clear and concise reporting to the ARA team and other stakeholders within the organization.
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
• A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in public accounting, internal audit, or management consulting.
• Proficiency in testing ITGCs across enterprise applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Experience with SAP S/4 audits.
• Background in supporting business process audit teams in testing automated controls, key reports, and other IT-dependent controls.
• Strong grasp of internal audit principles, methodologies, and professional standards.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, or other relevant credentials are preferred.
• Experience in MedTech or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
• Flexibility to work remotely, in a hybrid setting, or onsite.
