Senior Technology Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the existing technology landscape and the transformation limitations related to the program;

• Establish the desired technology architecture necessary to facilitate digital services and future solutions;

• Analyze deployment, hosting, integration, and evolution possibilities for technology components;

• Create gap analyses comparing the current environment with the target environment;

• Aid in defining principles, standards, and technology guidelines that align with program goals;

• Assist in the preparation of architecture deliverables, decision matrices, and technology suggestions;

• Work in collaboration with business, IT, and security architects to ensure the alignment of the overall target architecture;

• Help the client in developing a feasible implementation roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a relevant university degree in computer science, computer engineering, telecommunications, or a related discipline, or have equivalent experience;

• Have a minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in technology architecture, infrastructure, platforms, or digital transformation;

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of modern architectures, hybrid environments, and technology integration challenges;

• Experience in formulating target architectures, recommending solutions, and conducting comparative assessments of technology options;

• Ability to clearly articulate assumptions, constraints, risks, and architectural decisions;

• Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, or similar (an asset);

• Strong synthesis abilities, methodological rigor, and client-focused approach;

• Exceptional communication and writing skills in French.
