• Collaborate extensively with both internal and external engineers, product managers, customer experience teams, and account managers to spearhead bug resolutions and solutions as they emerge with our products.
• Coordinate with internal Product Managers to align on bug fixes and enhancements while assisting internal engineering teams in understanding the limitations and challenges faced by external partners as they arise.
• Engage directly with leadership, product management, support personnel, and engineers from our enterprise clients to address their concerns and act as a technical representative for our products.
• Occasionally develop new features for internal teams and/or external clients.
• Set a positive example and serve as a mentor to junior and mid-level colleagues.
• Create and maintain both internal and customer-facing documentation, including but not limited to how-to guides and knowledge base articles.
• Regularly monitor FTK services to ensure our product remains usable for our partners and their customers.
• Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive full-stack software development experience (preferably in Python, Go, or TypeScript).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to explain complex technical issues to varied audiences, ranging from engineers to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of insurance, fintech, or B2B SaaS business models; experience with policy administration, underwriting, or actuarial concepts is highly regarded.
• Eagerness to engage directly with large clients and assist in problem-solving.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism during high-pressure situations and escalations.
• Active and empathetic listener who can accept customer frustrations and criticism without becoming defensive.
• Understands and adheres to discipline around scope; recognizes customer feedback and escalates appropriately without overcommitting or dismissing requests.
• Proven ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously across various product areas.
• Extensive experience in utilizing, developing, and debugging within a microservice architecture.
• A passion for technology and a commitment to learning, adapting, and mentoring in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership of complex issues with incomplete information.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science degree preferred but not mandatory).
