Senior Technical Software Delivery Manager

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee the complete product delivery management lifecycle and release management operations within the Product organization.

• This position necessitates a strategic leader skilled in handling complex products, coordinating efforts across multiple technology teams, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and excellence.

• Operates in a senior leadership capacity to guide highly technical product delivery, ensuring alignment of scope and release planning with strategic business goals.

• Assumes responsibility and drives teams towards achieving quality and timely delivery by utilizing agile methodologies, adhering to company-defined delivery standards, and applying best practices.

• Recognizes potential risks and challenges that could affect the product roadmap and release schedules.

• Proactively identifies and formulates strategies for dependency and risk mitigation.

• Establish and track KPIs to assess the effectiveness, quality, and overall success of product delivery.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by regularly facilitating product retrospectives and enhancing established product delivery standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Strong experience in full lifecycle delivery for PaaS products and operations.

• Background in planning and delivering commercial software using agile methodologies across multiple public cloud technologies, such as AWS, Google, and Azure.

• Practical knowledge and application of technical product delivery management and agile development lifecycle in support of PaaS.

• Experience in managing intricate dependencies among various teams involved in software releases.

• Proficient in identifying and effectively responding to technical risks and issues that could impact delivery.

• Collaborative approach; works well with cross-functional teams to address challenges and complete complex deliverables within tight deadlines.

• Exceptional facilitation and time management capabilities, adept at meeting stringent deadlines while balancing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

• Results-driven with a keen attention to detail.

• Experienced with Atlassian tools such as Aha! and Jira for tracking software release progress.

• Scaled Agile Certification is preferred.
