Senior Technical Proposal Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Accountable for leading the creation of compliant and persuasive technical proposal content that effectively implements the strategic response plan, focusing on customer insights derived from research.

• Engages in close collaboration with the Capture Lead, Proposal Manager, Account Team, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Solution Architects (SAs), and other contributors.

• Coordinates meetings with SMEs/SAs to gather solution-related information for the development of compliant proposal sections and takes responsibility for developing the Technical Approach.

• Conducts interviews with SMEs/SAs to transform technical solution concepts into easily digestible language within the written response.

• Oversees content development to ensure compliance with review expectations and implements quality control measures to adhere to RFx and proposal design standards.

• Collaborates closely with the Proposal Manager to strategize and establish multiple repositories of reusable content and other resources to enhance the efficiency of proposal content creation and bolster the internal knowledge base.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, accompanied by strong English language proficiency.

• 3-5 years of experience in proposal or technical writing specifically for US government proposals.

• Shipley or similar training or certification is highly preferred.

• Proficient working knowledge of word processing software and MS Excel.

• Experience in creating and editing engaging graphics using Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Capable of meeting deadlines effectively.

• Good strategic planning capabilities.

• References are required.

• Experience in creating and editing engaging graphics using Adobe Photoshop.
