Senior Technical Program Manager – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Taking the lead for the Server Team, promoting a culture centered around excellence, accountability, and ongoing improvement.

• Managing multiple high-impact and complex projects from inception to deployment, ensuring they align with Akamai's primary business goals.

• Enhancing collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, bridging gaps between engineering, product, and operations while nurturing relationships with internal teams focused on server hardware components.

• Serving as a vital contributor to Akamai's global success by enhancing server performance and reliability on a large scale.

• Assisting cross-functional teams and offering subject matter expertise in the planning and execution of various projects and programs.

• Promoting effective communication and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting on program status, risks, opportunities, dependencies, and success metrics to stakeholders.

• Continuously engaging with key collaborators, effectively communicating progress, assessing risks, understanding priorities, and proposing solutions while implementing ongoing process improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess experience in team management and leadership.

• Have technical knowledge related to server hardware and software, including GPUs and smartNICs/DPUs.

• Show proficient experience in program or project management within cross-functional and technical teams.

• Exhibit proficient experience in managing agile work processes and have skills in handling relationships with external vendors.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, effectively communicating and adapting quickly to changing priorities in dynamic settings.

• Show initiative with analytical skills, effectively solving problems, making decisions, collaborating well, and participating in creative and innovative projects.
