Senior Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of delivering on customer requirements, meeting delivery timelines, fulfilling deployment commitments, overseeing internal cross-functional initiatives, and managing grant-funded projects.

• Establish and execute SpiNNcloud’s project management protocols, which encompass project intake, prioritization, stage gates, milestone planning, dependency management, change control, and scope management.

• Lead project kick-off meetings, maintain weekly schedules, conduct milestone reviews, and facilitate retrospectives.

• Follow up with teams regarding deliverables, timelines, and accountability measures.

• Identify risks, blockers, and trade-offs while proposing mitigation strategies.

• Create concise dashboards and executive summaries that reflect status updates, risks, and estimated time of arrival (ETA) confidence.

• Ensure a centralized source of truth for program status is maintained across the organization.

• Enhance communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to foster collaboration.

• Provide customer-facing teams with clear narratives and timelines for delivery.

• Manage milestones, reporting, and compliance associated with grant-funded projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical project/program management, overseeing delivery across cross-functional engineering teams (hardware, software, systems, or platform environments).

• Proven experience in customer-facing delivery, managing external commitments, requirements, timelines, scope changes, stakeholder engagement, and communications with customers/partners.

• Experience in designing and implementing project management processes within a growing organization, including aspects such as intake, prioritization, governance, cadence, and reporting.

• A solid track record of guiding complex, dependency-heavy programs to successful completion while balancing speed, quality, and stakeholder alignment.

• A strong execution mindset paired with the ability to navigate ambiguity effectively.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including decision-making, trade-off identification, expectation management, and scope/resource negotiation.

• Familiarity with Jira, Agile methodologies, and Scrum principles.
