This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead the strategic planning of technical insurance programs, encompassing timelines, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
• Create and sustain program roadmaps that align with business strategies and insurance product objectives.
• Facilitate teamwork across engineering, product, design, underwriting, claims, and support teams to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
• Utilize strong technical judgment to steer architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and complex problem-solving.
• Identify program risks and dependencies early on, implementing mitigation and corrective action plans as necessary.
• Act as the main point of contact for program status updates, escalations, and change management.
• Promote transparency and accountability across all workstreams through regular reporting and updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to define the scope of work, identify dependencies, and manage resource allocation.
• Ensure program deliverables adhere to business, technical, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Oversee activities related to testing, validation, documentation, and release readiness.
• Comprehend system architecture and data flows to foresee and address integration challenges.
• Leverage home insurance domain expertise, including policy administration systems and regulatory requirements, to inform program decisions.
• Monitor KPIs and program metrics, conduct post-mortems, and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program management, with at least 4 years in the insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of home insurance systems, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and delivering intricate technical programs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of synthesizing technical and business information for varied audiences.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage uncertainty effectively.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Proven track record of collaborating with US-based business teams.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Working Hours: 8 hours (excluding breaks), including 4 core US hours overlap (7:30 PM–11:30 PM IST) and 4 flexible hours (IST).
• Workspace: A quiet environment for work, with an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
