
Senior Technical Product Owner – User Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take full ownership of the User Platform domain from start to finish, encompassing identity, billing, login/logout processes, roles & rights, analytics, and scaling across multiple markets.
• Lead the backlog and sprint execution by refining user stories, establishing priorities, and balancing value, usability, feasibility, and viability.
• Transform user requirements and technical limitations into product initiatives, especially concerning IDP integrations, access control models, tracking, and billing workflows.
• Oversee internal and external stakeholders by aligning priorities and requirements, identifying trade-offs, and ensuring effective communication.
• Utilize data and user feedback to inform decisions, measure success, conduct user tests, support go-to-market strategies in new regions, and monitor the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and leadership teams to enhance the long-term quality of the platform.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager, preferably in B2B SaaS or platform-focused teams.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are advantageous.
• Proven experience managing platform or infrastructure-level product areas such as identity & access management, user provisioning, billing, or analytics/tracking.
• Proficient in engaging in technical discussions regarding APIs, authentication protocols, role-based access control, and system integrations.
• Experience collaborating with identity providers (IDPs) and scaling user management across various markets or tenants is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in launching and expanding complex software products from inception to growth.
• A solid grasp of agile methodologies and a passion for iterative product development.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to convert all concepts and stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable product decisions.
