This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as Galorath's leading expert in manufacturing economics, cost engineering, affordability engineering, value engineering, and design-to-cost methodologies.
• Provide insights to executive leadership on emerging trends in the industry, market opportunities, manufacturing strategies, and technology investments.
• Offer technical guidance across both commercial and government projects that involve engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, cost, schedule, and risk assessment.
• Assist in strategic initiatives that necessitate extensive technical knowledge and engagement at the executive level.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for senior leaders, engineering teams, manufacturing personnel, acquisition experts, and program executives.
• Spearhead the creation of innovative methodologies, frameworks, and strategies related to manufacturing intelligence, affordability engineering, and decision support.
• Conduct applied research in areas such as manufacturing economics, digital engineering, industrial AI, supply chain optimization, and lifecycle cost management.
• Collaborate with software and product teams to pinpoint future capabilities and identify emerging market opportunities.
• Shape the strategic direction of Galorath's software offerings, including SEER®, SEERai™, CostDB™, and other related solutions.
• Discover new applications and use cases for manufacturing intelligence, cost intelligence, AI-driven estimation, and digital engineering.
• Facilitate high-level discussions with government and commercial entities.
• Mentor consultants, engineers, analysts, and solution architects.
• Create technical training materials, knowledge bases, and educational resources.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, Data Science, or a closely related technical field.
• At least 15 years of experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, industrial engineering, affordability engineering, cost engineering, supply chain analysis, or related disciplines.
• Proven expertise in manufacturing economics, should-cost analysis, affordability engineering, value engineering, design-to-cost methodologies, or lifecycle cost analysis.
• Experience in supporting complex engineering, manufacturing, acquisition, or operational programs.
• Strong skills in executive communication and presentation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence decisions across engineering, manufacturing, finance, supply chain, program management, and executive leadership.
• Experience in leading cross-functional technical initiatives and strategic programs.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements, industry events, and internal initiatives.
