Senior Technical Expert, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategic shift from a modular monolith to microservices, ensuring adherence to domain boundaries while maintaining high performance.

• Develop clean, high-performance code utilizing Java 21+ features (Virtual Threads, Pattern Matching) to manage intricate data transactions.

• Collaborate on the roadmap for integrating AI/LLM functionalities into our search engine (Sinequa), empowering users to navigate data assets through natural language and intelligent discovery.

• Supervise the polyglot persistence layer, optimizing PostgreSQL for relational integrity and MongoDB for adaptable metadata storage.

• Design and sustain scalable infrastructure within AWS, guaranteeing that our CI/CD pipelines and deployment methodologies are of the highest standard.

• Serve as a catalyst for the team, performing thorough code reviews and establishing benchmarks for technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with modern Java (21+) and Spring Boot 3.x.

• Practical experience with messaging technologies, preferably Solace.

• Strong understanding of SPA architecture and frontend development using Angular and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with integration patterns and enterprise networking.

• Robust architectural knowledge, including modular monoliths, microservices, Data Mesh, and Domain-Driven Design.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and search platforms like Sinequa.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and EKS.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
