Senior Technical Enablement Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver ongoing updates to technical pre-sales teams regarding the product roadmap, lifecycle, and essential technical information.

• Work in collaboration with Product Management and Product Marketing to design and present sales training and technical materials.

• Serve as the main technical liaison for Sales Engineers addressing intricate customer and prospect inquiries as well as RFI/RFP submissions.

• Evaluate feature requests, suggest alternatives, and relay field feedback to Product Management.

• Assist field teams in creating solutions for intricate proofs of concept and high-stakes deals.

• Create and sustain product demonstrations alongside Technical Marketing Engineering and Sales Engineering teams.

• Convert complex technical features into understandable business-value narratives for senior and executive audiences.

• Equip technical pre-sales teams to effectively position and promote Akamai's Zero Trust Microsegmentation and SASE/SSE portfolio, which includes AI security features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in presales, sales engineering, solution architecture, product management, professional services, or customer success.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Zero Trust principles and products, particularly microsegmentation and SASE/SSE frameworks.

• Familiarity with broader cybersecurity technologies and prevailing market trends.

• Proficient understanding of AI security for AI workloads and interactions driven by AI, encompassing agentic AI, LLM usage patterns, and AI governance.

• Knowledge of datacenter security technologies, including servers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security.

• Understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP and TLS/SSL.

• Strong presentation, writing, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to articulate the value of technical products.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Familiarity with microservices.

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

• Knowledge of cloud security concepts.
