This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist and advise ClickHouse users, customers, and prospects through various channels including cases, chat, Slack, community interactions, and meetings.
• Create solutions utilizing ClickHouse Cloud and the ClickHouse open-source platform.
• Disseminate solutions via documentation, knowledge bases, blogs, meetups, webinars, and training sessions.
• Work in collaboration with global Support Services, Engineering, Go to Market, and Product Management teams to outline necessary functionalities.
• Mentor and educate colleagues, users, and customers by sharing expertise.
• Provide first-line technical customer support and represent ClickHouse in a professional manner.
• Offer responses, on-call support, and guidance within established SLAs for technical cases through ticketing systems, email, Slack, chat, and phone.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
• Assist customers in North America and provide coverage across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ regions as required.
• In-depth technical knowledge of ClickHouse open-source or ClickHouse Cloud, as well as relevant fields such as SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, and distributed systems.
• Prior technical experience in roles like Support Engineer, Consultant, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Availability for scheduling that aligns with high-quality 24x7 support in a globally distributed setting.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Capability to work fully remotely with a dependable internet connection.
• Collaborative spirit, global engagement, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in building trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
• Self-motivated, inquisitive, and eager to continually learn and develop.
• Experience with ClickHouse is advantageous.
• Familiarity with OSS and open-source technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure, GCP, or AWS is beneficial.
• Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ is a bonus.
