Senior Technical Consultant – Cloud & Platform Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of every engagement as the Engagement Lead, from the initial kickoff to the final executive readout.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers and the sole accountable individual for project delivery.

• Establish success criteria, manage change control, and ensure stakeholders are aligned on expected outcomes and boundaries.

• Facilitate standups, status updates, stakeholder and steering committee reviews, RAID management, and maintain decision logs.

• Address engagement risks proactively to prevent them from jeopardizing scope, timelines, or client relationships.

• Ensure quality control through peer reviews and readiness assessments of client-facing deliverables.

• Lead a small team of 2–3 individuals throughout the stages of discovery, analysis, and executive readout.

• Organize staffing, set goals for team members, provide coaching and feedback, and oversee utilization.

• Keep track of engagement risks, decisions made, and manage artifact version control.

• Spearhead technical discovery and analysis across various domains including multi-cloud, platform engineering, identity, networking, security, and application/data.

• Generate prioritized recommendations, size efforts, and create structured roadmaps.

• Convert findings into narratives suitable for executives that are connected to business outcomes.

• Apply AI-driven solutions to minimize manual effort and enhance insights.

• Document and enhance delivery materials, integrating them into the Rapid Solutions playbook.

• Define and improve Rapid Solutions offerings, playbooks, templates, and delivery standards.

• Collaborate with practice leaders to ensure standards are aligned with AHEAD delivery frameworks and initiatives across practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated experience in leading engagements.

• Proven track record of managing end-to-end client engagements from kickoff to executive readout.

• Experience in managing scope, statements of work, change control, governance, status updates, stakeholder reviews, RAID management, and decision logs.

• Ability to resolve engagement risks and escalate issues when necessary.

• Familiarity with quality control processes, peer reviews, and readiness checks for client-facing deliverables.

• Experience in leading and managing a small team of 2–3 individuals.

• Skills in setting goals and providing structured coaching and feedback.

• Competence in managing utilization and forecasting staffing requirements.

• Proficiency with multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Knowledge in platform engineering, identity, networking, security, and application/data domains.

• Experience in producing prioritized recommendations, effort sizing, and developing sequenced roadmaps.

• Ability to translate technical findings into executive-ready narratives that align with business outcomes.

• Experience in implementing AI-driven solutions.

• Skilled in developing playbooks, templates, scoring rubrics, questionnaires, and delivery standards.
