Senior Technical Assistance Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee multi-state technical assistance initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare access for individuals transitioning from incarceration.

• Offer expert advice to state health and correctional agencies that are implementing Medicaid 1115 reentry demonstration waivers.

• Supervise staff activities to guarantee the delivery of high-quality technical assistance.

• Convert policy into actionable strategies while ensuring that technical assistance projects are timely, responsive, impactful, and scalable.

• Report directly to the Director of Technical Assistance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in public health, social work, law, public policy, or criminal justice is preferred.

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Medicaid, behavioral health, criminal justice, or reentry health programs.

• At least 3 years of experience managing projects.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is deadline-oriented while fostering creativity.

• Proven experience in delivering technical assistance across multiple states or agencies, including direct client engagement, resource development, and facilitation of peer learning.

• Experience in implementing new policies or programs within corrections systems and/or state Medicaid.

• Competency in developing agendas and leading meetings with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of Medicaid and/or correctional health systems.

• Ability to distill insights from the field for resource development.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• A collaborative, strategic, and solutions-oriented mindset.

• Salary range of $105,000-$130,000, commensurate with experience, and may be adjusted based on the candidate's location.
