Senior Technical Architect – SAP Commerce Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Create and document comprehensive technical specifications for designated SAP Commerce Cloud components and integrations.

• Facilitate scrum sessions for the development team.

• Perform code reviews for the development team.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and fellow Developers to assess the effort required for assigned work packages.

• Design, customize, and troubleshoot SAP Commerce Cloud components and extensions utilizing Java, Spring, and associated technologies.

• Develop data models for products, catalogs, storefronts, customers, orders, and additional entities.

• Transform product, inventory, and customer data into formats compatible with SAP Commerce Cloud loading.

• Set up one-time or ongoing data imports.

• Provide status updates and escalate issues to the Project Manager and Solution Architect.

• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality SAP Commerce Cloud components and integrations.

• Lead, coach, and guide team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring.

• More than 3 years of experience with Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud.

• At least 4 years of experience in developing web-based applications using SOAP and/or REST.

• Successfully completed a minimum of one end-to-end Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud implementation.

• Served as the platform architect or development lead for at least one Hybris implementation.

• SAP Commerce Cloud certification is a plus.

• Proficiency in JSP or JSTL, Tomcat, and Hibernate.

• Proven exceptional client service orientation.

• Experience collaborating with offshore teams is advantageous.

• A strong desire and capability to mentor junior colleagues and engage constructively with other senior technical resources.
