Senior Technical Architect – Data Foundation Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the advisory, architecture, and execution of enterprise Data Foundation initiatives for Salesforce Professional Services clients.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, current-state evaluations, use-case and KPI development, and discovery processes.

• Guide client stakeholders and CxOs in shaping business cases, anticipated outcomes, and maturity roadmaps.

• Evaluate data maturity and create phased, client-specific roadmaps.

• Design, establish, or approve target-state architecture across Salesforce Data 360, Informatica IDMC, and/or MuleSoft.

• Integrate Salesforce with clients’ existing multi-vendor technology solutions.

• Confirm architectural decisions through defined proofs of concept.

• Deliver operational, governed capability increments at each phase.

• Instill governance, quality, security, and privacy from the outset.

• Create data foundations for analytics and agentic AI.

• Provide architectural governance, quality assurance, delivery-risk management, and dependency oversight across projects.

• Utilize AI tools including Claude Code, Gemini, Lucid AI, and NotebookLM throughout the engagement lifecycle.

• Develop reusable prompt templates, skills, agents, accelerators, and reference intellectual property.

• Contribute patterns and resources to the practice playbook.

• Introduce agentic-SaaS-future thought leadership into client engagements and practice perspectives.

• Establish stewardship, RACI, and sustainable operational models for clients.

• Produce executive-level summaries and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Offer hands-on technical support to Consultants, Architects, and, at the Director level, Senior Advisors.

• Author and refine the Data Foundation Delivery Playbook, accelerators, and reference IP at the Director level.

• Achieve customer-billable engagement outcomes as a hands-on senior individual contributor, rather than an internal people manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of practical data experience for Senior Technical Architect level; 15+ years for Director level.

• Proven delivery and leadership in enterprise data platforms, MDM, integration, governance, or AI-readiness programs.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with one or more of Salesforce Data 360, Informatica IDMC, MuleSoft.

• Strong to authoritative level in data modeling and semantic/metadata modeling.

• Working to strong knowledge of data governance, quality, security, and privacy, including GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA.

• Executive-level communication skills and, at senior levels, demonstrated CxO-level advisory experience.

• Ability to direct delivery teams and oversee multi-workstream projects.

• Experience integrating vendor platforms into diverse and complex enterprise environments.

• Hands-on to deep proficiency with AI-augmented delivery and reusable prompt/skill/agent resources.

• Forward-thinking outlook on enterprise data, AI, and the agentic future of SaaS; recognized or published at senior levels.

• Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

• Preferred experience in unified identity and harmonization, MDM, unstructured data management, data architecture, integration, data trust, governance, industry data models, data platforms, analytics, BI, and observability.

• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Salesforce Certified Integration Architect, Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, TOGAF, Informatica IDMC/MDM, DAMA CDMP, or CDMC.

• Preferred strengths include agentic AI/RAG delivery, expertise in Financial Services, Healthcare, or Manufacturing, reusable accelerators and prompt/skill/agent libraries, and enterprise-scale Professional Services/customer-facing advisory experience.
