Senior Technical Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• This position will report to the Technical Accounting Director and will be tasked with resolving complex, significant, and unique accounting challenges (pertaining to IFRS, FRS 102, and FRS 101) that affect the entire Ardonagh Group, in addition to specific issues related to individual segments or divisions.

• A solid understanding of regulatory, tax, legal, and accounting issues, especially in the realm of technical accounting, is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential to convey intricate issues in a straightforward manner.

• The candidate must possess the capability to challenge, inquire, and analyze effectively.

• A focus on continuous improvement and innovation is necessary, complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to present information succinctly, efficiently, and professionally to senior management is crucial.

• Building self-awareness and fostering relationships is important, necessitating strong connections with both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education – A degree (or equivalent) is required.

• Specialized Knowledge – Proficiency in IFRS, FRS 102, and FRS 101 is needed.

• Microsoft Office – An intermediate to advanced level of proficiency is expected.

• Professional Certification – ACA is required, along with substantial post-qualification experience (including Big 4 and industry experience).

• Experience – Background in technical accounting or accounting policy, particularly with IFRS, is essential.
