
Senior Tech Product Manager – AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML product features (JobHunt Engine).
• Assume complete responsibility for the product lifecycle, from hypothesis to scaled impact, with an emphasis on business outcomes rather than solely model performance.
• Convert business challenges into ML hypotheses and solutions.
• Collaborate closely with ML engineers and data scientists to determine data requirements, evaluation frameworks (evals, RAG, agents), model monitoring, and delivery processes.
• Create and implement rapid, pragmatic validation cycles. Develop clear hypotheses (Problem → Mechanism → Impact → Metric), select appropriate validation methods (A/B test, shadow model, phased rollout), and make data-driven go/no-go decisions amidst uncertainty.
• Cut through distractions, prioritize essential tasks, and initially build simple, effective solutions.
• Work in tandem with Engineering, Data Science, and business teams. Clearly articulate complex ML concepts and align stakeholders on objectives, trade-offs, and progress.
• Strong grasp of ML/LLM fundamentals (NLP, recommendation systems, etc.).
• Practical experience in developing and scaling AI-powered features (matching, ranking, personalization).
• Familiarity with contemporary AI/ML concepts: evaluation frameworks, RAG, agents, model monitoring.
• Capability to define data pipelines, metrics, and workflows in collaboration with ML engineering teams.
• Nice to have: practical experience in a Data Science, Data Analyst, or ML Engineer position.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally within a data-intensive or ML-centric field (HRTech experience is a significant advantage).
• Demonstrated ability to formulate and rigorously assess product/ML hypotheses using statistical methods (A/B testing, significance, confidence intervals).
• Competence in reasoning about probability, causality, and data constraints to make informed decisions.
• Entrepreneurial & Hands-on: "Let's build it" mindset. Capable of creating quick prototypes and testing concepts without excessive engineering. Comfortable with "building with sticks and glue" to accelerate learning.
• Outcome-Oriented: Responsible for business results, not just the AI model. Practical and willing to simplify or eliminate features that do not generate impact.
• Thrives in Ambiguity: Able to navigate uncertainty, conflicting model results, and chaotic data. A structured thinker who can clarify complex situations.
• Fluent in English and Russian. Excellent communication skills with both technical (Engineers, Data Scientists) and non-technical stakeholders.
