Senior Tech AI/ML Product Manager – Job Hunt Engine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• **Strategy & Ownership:** Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML product features (JobHunt Engine). Take comprehensive ownership of the product lifecycle from hypothesis formulation to scaled impact, prioritizing business outcomes over model performance.

• **ML Product Leadership:** Convert business challenges into ML hypotheses and solutions. Collaborate closely with ML engineers and data scientists to outline data requirements, evaluation frameworks (evals, RAG, agents), model monitoring, and delivery processes.

• **Hypothesis Validation & Experimentation:** Design and implement rapid, practical validation cycles. Create clear hypotheses (Problem → Mechanism → Impact → Metric), select appropriate validation methods (A/B testing, shadow models, phased rollouts), and make data-driven go/no-go decisions amidst uncertainty. Be resourceful and efficient with limited data or infrastructure.

• **Structured Problem Solving:** Utilize critical thinking to dissect complex, ambiguous problems. Eliminate distractions, prioritize essential issues, and develop straightforward, effective solutions first.

• **Cross-Functional Execution:** Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, and business teams. Articulate complex ML concepts clearly and align stakeholders on objectives, trade-offs, and progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Technical & ML Expertise:**

• Strong comprehension of ML/LLM fundamentals (NLP, recommendation systems, etc.).

• Practical experience in developing and scaling AI-driven features (matching, ranking, personalization).

• Familiarity with contemporary AI/ML concepts: evaluation frameworks, RAG, agents, model monitoring.

• Capability to define data pipelines, metrics, and workflows with ML engineering teams.

• Preferred: hands-on experience in a Data Science, Data Analyst, or ML Engineer position.

• **Product Development:**

• **5+ years of experience as a Product Manager,** ideally in a data-centric or ML-driven field (HRTech experience is highly advantageous).

• Demonstrated ability to formulate and rigorously evaluate product/ML hypotheses using statistical techniques (A/B testing, significance, confidence intervals).

• Proficiency in reasoning about probability, causality, and data constraints to make well-informed decisions.

• **Mindset & Approach:**

• **Entrepreneurial & Hands-on:** A “Let’s build it” mindset. Capable of creating quick prototypes and testing ideas without excessive engineering. Comfortable with “building with sticks and glue” to facilitate rapid learning.

• **Outcome-Oriented:** Takes ownership of business results, not just the AI model. Practical and willing to simplify or eliminate features that do not yield impact.

• **Thrives in Ambiguity:** Able to navigate uncertainty, conflicting model results, and noisy data. A structured thinker who can bring clarity to complex situations.

• **Communication:** Fluent in English and Russian. Excellent ability to communicate effectively with both technical (Engineers, Data Scientists) and non-technical stakeholders.
