
Senior Tech AI/ML Product Manager – Job Hunt Engine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML product features (JobHunt Engine).
• Assume complete responsibility for the product lifecycle from hypothesis formulation to scaled impact, prioritizing business outcomes rather than solely model performance.
• Convert business challenges into ML hypotheses and solutions. Collaborate closely with ML engineers and data scientists to outline data requirements, evaluation frameworks (evals, RAG, agents), model monitoring, and delivery processes.
• Develop and implement rapid, pragmatic validation cycles. Create explicit hypotheses (Problem → Mechanism → Impact → Metric), select appropriate validation methods (A/B testing, shadow models, phased rollouts), and make data-driven go/no-go decisions amidst uncertainty.
• Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, and business teams. Articulate complex ML concepts clearly and ensure alignment among stakeholders regarding goals, trade-offs, and progress.
• Comprehensive understanding of ML/LLM fundamentals (NLP, recommendation systems, etc.).
• Practical experience in building and scaling AI-driven features (matching, ranking, personalization).
• Familiarity with contemporary AI/ML concepts: evaluation frameworks, RAG, agents, model monitoring.
• Capability to define data pipelines, metrics, and workflows alongside ML engineering teams.
• Preferred: hands-on experience in a Data Science, Data Analyst, or ML Engineer position.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Product Manager role, ideally within a data-intensive or ML-focused sector (experience in HRTech is a significant advantage).
• Demonstrated ability to formulate and rigorously assess product/ML hypotheses using statistical techniques (A/B testing, significance, confidence intervals).
• Proficient in reasoning about probability, causality, and data constraints to make well-informed decisions.
• Entrepreneurial & Hands-on: A "Let's build it" mentality. Capable of creating rapid prototypes and testing concepts without excessive engineering. Comfortable with "building with sticks and glue" to facilitate quick learning.
• Outcome-Oriented: Responsible for the business outcome, not just the AI model. Practical and open to simplifying or discontinuing features that do not generate impact.
• Thrives in Ambiguity: Able to navigate uncertainty, conflicting model outcomes, and noisy data. A structured thinker who can clarify complex situations.
• Fluent in English and Russian. Exceptional communication skills with both technical (Engineers, Data Scientists) and non-technical stakeholders.
