Senior Tax Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Strategy Team

• Supervise and guide a team consisting of two Tax Strategy Administrators and one Tax Strategy Advisor

• Establish benchmarks for quality, consistency, and client service

• Act as the technical and professional escalation point for the most challenging strategy inquiries within the team

• Create development plans and growth trajectories for team members

• Manage your own portfolio of clients, leading up to 12 strategy meetings each week

• Provide advanced, comprehensive strategies in areas including tax minimization, estate planning, business succession, and insurance alignment

• Collaborate with the VP of Tax to implement and refine the strategy program

• Develop and sustain a curated library of reliable referral partners

• Integrate AI tools such as ChatGPT and TaxGPT into research, communication, and strategy formulation

⛳️ Requirements

• An active CPA license is mandatory

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tax strategy within public accounting or a rapidly growing advisory setting

• Proven experience in designing and executing intricate tax and wealth strategies for business owners

• Significant experience in people management is essential

• A history of executing and scaling a process or system you have developed

• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing abilities

• A technology-oriented mindset, with a proven commitment to embracing and promoting AI tools

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, swiftly evolving remote startup atmosphere
