This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conducting tax planning and preparation for high-net-worth individuals and their associated entities;
• Performing initial reviews on specific individual and fiduciary tax returns;
• Ensuring adherence to all federal and state filing obligations on behalf of clients;
• Serving as a resource for business management teams regarding tax planning, research, and the ongoing education of tax-related updates;
• Assisting Tax Managers in providing regular training to both permanent and seasonal tax preparation staff;
• Aiding in the communication of pertinent tax updates to clients through newsletters, social media, and other forms of communication.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with over 3 years of relevant experience
• A proven emphasis on preparing individual, fiduciary, partnership, and S-corp tax returns, particularly for high-net-worth individuals and families
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; strong problem-solving, technological, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Significant attention to detail, self-directed follow-through, and exceptional time management skills
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• The readiness and capacity to work additional hours when necessary during peak season
• CPA, CPA candidate, or EA status that allows representation of clients before the IRS (preferred)
• Experience in preparing multi-state tax returns (preferred)
• Familiarity with ProSystem fx® Tax, CCH Axcess, CCH Workflow, Engagement, and BNA Income Tax™ Planner (preferred)
