Senior Tax Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Supervise the preparation and evaluation of tax returns for various entities.

• Offer tax insights, perform thorough research, and draft memos addressing intricate tax matters.

• Serve as a mentor to team members, promoting an environment of ongoing learning and professional development.

• Review and guarantee high standards of tax compliance in line with the firm's guidelines.

• Prepare intricate individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns as required.

• Stay updated on changes in tax law, accounting practices, and emerging tax challenges.

• Assist in the formulation and oversight of tax quality control policies and procedures.

• Contribute to the provision of exceptional tax services and planning support.

• Engage in business development initiatives and efforts to cultivate relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• CPA or EA (preferred or required based on the candidate; or actively pursuing the credential).

• 3–5 years of tax-related experience, including at least 1–2 years focused on tax return review.

• Strong technical knowledge in tax, with expertise in one or more industries.

• Exceptional research and technical writing capabilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to mentor, instruct, and cultivate the skills of others.

• Capacity to think critically and solve problems in complex or time-sensitive scenarios.

• Leadership presence, emphasizing influence and guidance over direct supervision.
