Senior Tax Manager, Private Client Services – HNWI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement business development strategies focused on attracting new clients in the designated region.

• Act as the primary liaison for prestigious clients, delivering tailored tax planning, compliance, and consulting services that meet their specific requirements.

• Remain updated on industry developments, tax legislation, and regulations to guarantee the firm provides innovative tax solutions.

• Guide and nurture junior staff members, promoting a culture of learning, development, and collaboration within the tax department.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA or other relevant qualifications are necessary.

• Recent experience working with a public accounting firm.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance in public accounting, ideally within the Private Client/HNWI sector.

• In-depth knowledge of individual taxation, with a preference for experience in partnerships and fiduciary matters alongside individual taxation.

• Demonstrated success in business development.

• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, capable of establishing and maintaining client relationships.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, emphasizing attention to detail.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including tax software and technology.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• A Master’s degree in taxation is preferred.
