This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee a portfolio of more intricate business tax clients within your area of expertise, which includes reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures.
• Independently sign off on tax returns for more complex clients, working autonomously from the director or partner.
• Provide compliance and advisory services related to Pillar 2.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all tax-related issues and collaborating to resolve any inquiries or concerns.
• Deliver expert advice and guidance on various business tax matters, including corporate tax planning, restructuring, and compliance.
• Support tax investigations and disputes, coordinating with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate closely with other departments within the firm, enhancing your internal network with teams such as audit and advisory to ensure a seamless service for clients.
• Participate in business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to cross-sell services to existing clients and generate new business leads.
• Contribute to the enhancement and evolution of our operational methods within the firm, working alongside other members of the management group.
• Potentially oversee a team, with direct line management responsibilities for some members, dedicating time to mentor and support junior team members in their technical development.
• Extensive experience in providing a comprehensive tax compliance service to clients.
• Proven experience in delivering ad hoc advisory services.
• Experience managing a diverse range of clients, including large corporate groups, internationally owned entities, and private equity-backed firms.
