Senior Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Deliver tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations across diverse industries and jurisdictions.

• Evaluate intricate tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts.

• Oversee projects within the office, ensuring strong engagement management metrics.

• Investigate advanced tax topics.

• Build, cultivate, and maintain client relationships.

• Manage client billing responsibilities as necessary.

• Lead, develop, and mentor professional tax staff.

• Support administrative functions for the department and the firm.

• Promote the firm’s additional services and assist in business development efforts.

• Provide outstanding client service through a solid understanding of accounting standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.

• Must possess an active CPA license.

• A minimum of 9 years of tax experience is preferred.

• Experience in public accounting is preferred.

• Experience in personnel management is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong client service abilities with the capacity to interact with all management levels.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Robust planning and organizational skills with decision-making capabilities.

• Resourceful in identifying technical issues and creating solutions.

• Up-to-date with current developments in the field of expertise.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CCH Access, and QuickBooks.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States now and in the future without requiring sponsorship.
